Returns Policy
At Margaret Ottawa, we do everything we can to keep our customers satisfied. However, it may occasionally happen that you wish to return a product. In this document, we clearly explain our returns policy.
Conditions for Returns
- You may only register a return after you have physically received the item.
- Return costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer, including any international shipping costs.
- Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original condition, with all labels and tags still attached.
- Trying on items is permitted; wearing them is not allowed.
- Ordering multiple sizes with the intention of returning part of the order is not permitted.
Return Process
- Register your return by emailing info@margaretottawa.com within 14 days of receiving your item.
- You will receive the return address of our supplier (located in China).
- You must return the item at your own expense, including any applicable customs duties or shipping costs.
- We strongly recommend using a shipping method that includes tracking.
Refunds
Once the returned item has been received at the return address and approved upon inspection, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.
Liability
- We are not responsible for lost parcels if the tracking information shows that the item has been delivered to the address provided by the customer.
- If an incorrect address is provided, this remains the responsibility of the customer.
- Any errors in the delivery address must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order.
Please note that returns are shipped to our international warehouse. Depending on the shipping carrier and parcel size, international return shipping costs may typically range between approximately CAD $45 and CAD $55. These costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
